The Catholic Diocese of Toledo unveiled their new Web site earlier this month. Designed and built by BusinessVoice, the new site "captures the essence of the diocese's role in the lives of Catholics throughout Northwest and west central Ohio," according to the editors of the Catholic Chronicle.

Considering the demographics of area Catholics and their need to access information easily and efficiently, diocesan officials view the new Web site as one of their primary communication tools.

BusinessVoice Wins One Show Award

Toledo-based audio marketing agency BusinessVoice won a Merit Award at the 25th annual One Show Awards in New York City last month. The agency was one of only 12 winners in the newly established "Innovative Marketing" category.

Billed as "advertising's most prestigious awards show," The One Show attracts the world's leading agencies. This year, approximately 13,000 entries were submitted; 114 received one of the top awards of a Gold, Silver or Bronze "Pencil," while 408 received a Merit Award. BusinessVoice was the only agency in Ohio to be recognized.

BusinessVoice's winning entry was an On Hold Messaging production it produced for Toledo Towing. Creative Director Scott Greggory wrote and voiced the production. Troy Montgomery served as Audio Engineer.

BusinessVoice is very pleased to announce that, in its fiscal year ending March 31, 2003, the agency enjoyed a 46% increase in sales bookings over the previous fiscal year.

Despite a lackluster economy, an increasing number of companies continued to see the benefits of the agency's audio marketing services, which include On Hold Messaging, Web Audio Messaging, and Point-of-Purchase Audio Marketing.

"An increase as substantial as 46% shows the real value and effectiveness of our services," said BusinessVoice Sales Manager Bruce Bryan. "Even when corporate budgets are shrinking, companies are able to justify the need for the type of audio marketing we provide."
