“Our first priority as a marketing agency is to listen,” said Tony. “And I think we do that well.”
Tony explained that “As an Account Executive, it’s my job to understand a client’s position within their marketplace, listen to their needs, and then help them meet those needs. I work with our team to define the strategies and tactics that allow our clients to reach their goals.”
Tony’s long list of accomplishments includes leading successful branding campaigns, creating national promotional programs, and developing winning strategies for the Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s renewal levy and capital campaigns.
A couple examples of client success he’s especially proud of: “With the aid of focus groups and other research, we re-branded the University of Michigan Credit Union to make it accessible to non-U of M applicants. We also worked with Columbia Gas of Ohio to promote a ‘Customer Choice’ program that gave customers the option of purchasing gas directly from marketers.”
And along the way, Tony’s earned a few honors for his work. “While I was Ad Manager at Champion Spark Plug Company, we won a pair of Clio Awards.” He received recognition from the U.S. and Ohio Departments of Health for preparing communication plans to be used in the event of a pandemic outbreak. Tony also earned recognition and commendation from the Ohio Department of Health for helping the Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio develop smoking cessation programs.
Tony sums up his marketing philosophy this way: “Whether we’re promoting consumer products or high-tech advancements, the goal should be to address society’s needs with innovation, honesty, integrity and cost-effective solutions.”
An active member of our community, Tony supports Mobile Meals, St. Paul’s Community Center, and organizations that assist abused women and children.
