Mearl Sutton, Director of National Accounts for BusinessVoice, has been elected to the On Hold Messaging Association’s (OHMA) Board of Directors for a two-year term. Board members, who oversee the organization’s strategic goals and direction, also chair one of OHMA’s key committees. Sutton will lead the marketing committee as part of his duties.
“I am going to use my abilities and my position on the OHMA Board to raise the bar for the entire On Hold Messaging industry,” said Sutton. “And as our own standards rise, both clients and OHMA member companies will reap the benefits.”
BusinessVoice is one of the nation’s leading providers of On Hold Messaging, a service that combines music with customized messages to inform, entertain, and market to a company’s callers on hold. As the agency’s Director of National Accounts, Sutton helps multi-location companies recognize the benefits of the service, and designs customized programs for clients.
“With the On Hold Messaging we create for our clients, BusinessVoice makes marketing impressions on more than 100 million people per year,” says Sutton. “On Hold Messaging can create a lot of opportunities for organizations of any size, and I’m proud to be with both the agency and the association that are driving the industry.”
OHMA is an international association that serves clients and member companies in several countries around the world. It exists to promote the marketing benefits of On Hold Messaging and encourage high industry standards. BusinessVoice has been an active member of OHMA since 2001.
